Landing in Summer 2012, Heron Wind is bringing the latest in blade technology to the market.  Sweep-Twist Adaptive Rotor® (STAR) blade technology works by creating a change in the blade's shape when wind strikes the surface.

H-777: Wind Turbine for the Future

Heron Wind has been gathering data to construct a midscale wind turbine for use in distributed community wind projects.  Danish wind turbine experts say to "start with the blades," and we are doing just that!  The deployment of STAR blades is our first step towards producing a competitive midscale wind turbine.  The H-777 turbine will incoporate the latest turbine technology to create a highly cost-effective option for private communities, industrial parks, Native American reservations, or any group seeking to utilize clean, green energy.  Check back for updates in late 2012!
